Your Voter Rights*

  • If you go to the wrong polling place, poll workers must direct you to the correct location.
  • If poll workers cannot find your registration, you may be able to cast a “challenged ballot” when approved by the local Clerk.
  • If needed, you have the right to ask for and receive help casting your ballot.
  • If you spoil your ballot, poll workers must give you a new one upon your request.
